Couture’, transposes the spirit of Couture ‘Au Masculin’
2000 - Slimane is appointed as Christian Dior´s Creative Director of
Menswear, he creates Dior Homme
Imposes his new male silhouette - stretched
The ‘Skinny Look’ combined with the thin black tie becomes his
signature
2002 - First menswear designer to receive the CFDA Award for
International Designer
2007 - Hedi Slimane moves to Los Angeles after not renewing his
contract with Dior
2012 - Yves Saint Laurent appoints him as Creative Director

Christian Dior; he hires Yves Saint Laurent as his personal assistant
1957 - After Christian Dior´s death, he takes over the Fashion House
1958 - YSL presents ‘The Trapeze Line’, his first collection

Receives the Neiman Marcus Award
1959 - YSL´s first theater costume designs - Cyrano de Bergerac by
