Le Bar du Plaza Athénée´s redecoration respected its heritage, conserving the
wood wall panels
The Bar is divided into two parts - the first one set round a long glass counter
with Louis XV style metal stools, stainless steel tables and Murano
micro-chandeliers, the second one features a hand-tufted carpet,
leather armchairs and large paintings, creating a cozier atmosphere
The Plaza Cellar was redesigned by Gérard Margeon, Dominique Azzi and
Marie-Hélène Deveaud
The Dior Institut at the Plaza Athénée´s environment is an extension of the
couture house, featuring the brand´s signature touches and emblems in a
luxurious setting decorated with precious materials, silver and white medallion
chairs and mirrors, and highlighted by iridescent textures and lighting effects
Dior Institut counts with a central pool, arched arcades, five treatment rooms
(including a double VIP room), relaxation and herbal tea lounge,
fitness space, hammam steam bath and sauna
The rooms of the first six floors are decorated with Louis XIV, Louis XV and
Regency style furniture
The rooms of the seventh and eighth floors are decorated in Art Decó style
